THE Multi-Day MAINE WEDDING

Seamless Hospitality from Welcome Supper to Farewell Morning

Some weddings last a single evening, yours is an extended stay with dearest loved ones who have shaped you.

The days surrounding the ceremony are a meaningful prelude to the vows at the heart of this milestone.

Chef Rebecca Schilling designs the culinary rhythm of your entire stay, from the moment guests arrive to the quiet morning sendoffs, so that every meal and every thoughtful touch carries the same warmth and care as the celebration at its center.

How a Wedding With Rebecca Takes Shape

Every meal is designed from scratch around your guests, your venue, and the emotions you want your gathering to carry. Here is a sense of what a fully provisioned stay might look like and what becomes possible when the kitchen is in Rebecca’s care.

THE WELCOME

Your guests arrive to something waiting for them.

Before the celebration begins, the house is already hospitable. A curated arrival spread of local cheeses, seasonal accompaniments, vibrant fruits, and something sweet from a Maine maker is styled and ready when your first guests walk through the door.

The ANCHOR MEAL

An evening that sets the tone for everything.

A multi-course dinner designed collaboratively with you, rooted in Maine's current season, shaped around your family's preferences, served at a pace that encourages everyone to linger. This may be a welcome supper in the orchard on a Thursday evening, an al fresco luncheon overlooking Casco Bay on a Sunday, or an intimate rehearsal dinner at your home the night before the ceremony, this is the meal your guests will still be talking about in the years to come.

Rebecca and her team handle every detail: the service, the timing, the quiet refills, the kitchen left spotless before the last guest says goodnight.

THE MORNING AFTER

The kitchen is ready before your guests are.

Each morning of your stay, the refrigerator and counter are stocked and waiting with house-made provisions designed around your group, labeled, portioned, and ready without any effort from you. Coffee and tea are set and guests wander down at their own pace and find something delicious waiting for them.

Morning Provisions are tailored to your group during your Planning Session: Dietary needs, preferences, and the particular rhythm of your stay all shape what appears in that kitchen each morning.

THE DETAILS THAT STAY WITH PEOPLE

The touches no one expects but everyone remembers.

Rebecca delights in intentional and joyful culinary moments: Hand-painted chocolates waiting on pillows, the late-night grazing board that appeared after the dancing, the baskets of local berries and maple granola for the early risers. These are not afterthoughts. They are part of how a stay becomes a memory.

Enhancements are discussed and designed during your Planning Session and may include:

  • The Arrival Spread: A styled welcome for guests arriving at the property

  • Late Night Bites: Passed noshes or a grazing station following dinner service

  • Luncheons: Casual cookouts, pre-ceremony refreshments during hair and makeup, or a final meal before guests begin to depart

  • Tabletop Curation: Full rental sourcing, styling, and day-of coordination with Maine's finest rental partners

  • Additional Morning Provisions: Stocked across multi-day stays

What Every Multi-Day Experience Includes

Regardless of scope, Maine Wedding Provisions hospitality is built on the same foundation:

Collaborative menu design rooted in season, place, and your family's palate, developed through a dedicated Planning Session with Chef Rebecca before a single dish is prepared.

Seamless dietary navigation: Allergies, restrictions, and strong preferences are folded into the menu from the beginning, not accommodated as an afterthought.

A calm, steady presence: Rebecca's most consistent review is that she brings a grounding warmth to any space she enters. At a time when everything feels heightened, that matters more than any single dish.

Full kitchen reset after service so every morning you wake up to a clean kitchen.

A Planning Session with Chef Rebecca: A dedicated conversation to design your wedding’s culinary arc, discuss enhancements, and ensure the experience reflects exactly who you are.

Is Maine Wedding Provisions Right for You?

You're in the right place if:

  • Your nearest and dearest are staying onsite together at a private estate, historic inn, rental property, or boutique venue

  • You want your celebration to feel genuinely hosted, not catered

  • You value food that reflects the place you chose and the season in which you're celebrating

  • You'd like to hand off the kitchen entirely and simply be present with your people

  • Your guest count is between 8 and 30

Also a perfect fit if: You're planning a larger wedding and want your wedding party or immediate family (the 8–30 VIPs staying onsite), to feel as thoughtfully cared for as the celebration itself. Rebecca works alongside your primary wedding team to provision the inner circle across the multiple days.

Begin With a Conversation

Maine Wedding Provisions accepts a limited number of engagements each season to ensure every gathering receives Rebecca's full attention.

Every wedding begins with a complimentary Discovery Call, a relaxed conversation about your vision, your guests, and how you'd like your celebration to feel. From there, a custom proposal is prepared for your review. Proposals for multi-day experiences typically range from $6,500 to $15,000 and are customized based on the number of days, meals, and enhancements selected.

Come with your questions, and we’ll discuss how to infuse your accommodations with warmth and ease.
